Standard: Show Content Tip
6b Develop a testable question.

Holistic Rating: Limited coverage of this standard.

Aspects that do not help student learning:
In cited investigations, student development of a testable question was not the focus of the investigation. It is an added sentence at the end of the activity. There is no direction to the student with respect to how to develop a testable question, how to share results with others, or how to evaluate their question and their experimental procedure/results. Cited activities are on pages A62-A63, A108-A109, A114-A115, B24-B25, C12-C13, C20-C21, C76-C77.
