You might not be aware of it but to own a dog means to be responsible for its care, and the more you provide this care the more benefit you get. It is an individualized process to look for the right companion pet. This is because every person in unique with unique needs and desires. This can also be applied when it comes to dog breeds. There are many stories about the origin of this domesticated animal but its purposes have been utilized all over the world. There are two uses for dogs that we can see and one of them is to help the man in work or doing certain tasks, and the other is simply to be a companion or pet.
Both utilities though includes companionship, one as an alliance while the other as a social affiliation. Since dogs are very reliable as a companion, there is a bond formed with his master and this relationship is sort of a mutual one. Real bonding with a dog makes the owner gain many benefits from it. When an owner has a bond with his dog, it benefits him from being able to develop his being in charge over the relationship. Being responsible for your dog’s well-being is part of being in charge. When it is hungry, you feed it. You are sensitive when it wants to relieve itself and you take him out for that. When it becomes restless, you exercise it. When your dog is sick, you bring him to the vet. In return however, your furry friend gives you back its loyalty, devotion and trust, unlike most human who takes these things as their entitlement. You can see many dog owners today who treat their dogs as human and they have a relationship that can be compared with what one has with his best friend.
Training your dog is one of the most neglected area when it comes to caring for them. We have to remember that they do not think like humans, they simply respond to patterns that we cast, they are very sensitive to these cues that many would assume that they have a cognitive ability like humans. This means that there is a difference between training a dog and training a child.
The reason why you need to train them though offers several benefits. A dog’s life can be saved if he is trained. If you always train them with commands, you will have voice control over your dog. A dog’s life can be spared by the ability of the owner to get the dog back with voice commands. Bringing a dog trained in manners is a delight and there will be no occasion for embarrassment or injury. Training allows you to understand them better.
